This project was delivered in partnership with Furthermore, a London-based user experience and design studio. Our input during the early stages involved guiding the business aims, providing input during user experience workshops and focus groups, and providing technical feasibility guidance to the client and Furthermore throughout.
The Buckinghamshire Business First website is packed full of features, including a full featured content management system (CMS) solution allowing editors to manage all aspects of website content; a smart search solution including fuzzy logic and keyword weighting; subscription payments via Stripe and GoCardless; a fully featured bespoke events booking system, including payments and guestlist management; a Stack Overflow style question and answer system, facilitating member to memeber discussions; a meeting room booking solution that integrates with internal systems (Microsoft Exchange); content filtering based on categoriy and distance throughout and deep integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the client's customer relationship management tool.
The website requires a modest hosting solution that spans a small number of virtual cloud servers, providing various services including Elasticsearch. We're able to provide infrastructure services via Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform, as well as dedicated servers and clusters via traditional hosting providers.
